- The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi will be visiting UAE on February 13-14, 2024 to inaugurate a temple and address the World Government Summit.
- The relationship between India and the UAE has become stronger and is deemed a significant bilateral relationship.
- A deep friendship between President of UAE and PM Modi exists with a land case of a temple being donated by the President in Abu Dhabi.
- Trade between the two countries bilaterally was $85 billion in 2022-23 and the UAE is India’s third most important trade partner and the second most important export destination.
- The goal of the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement is to make the trade in services reach $ 115 billion in five years.
- The UAE allows the RuPay card and the Indian rupee for settlements in Dubai’s airports.
