India, Israel launch commemorative logo to mark 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties

Israel and India have unveiled a celebratory logo to honour the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two nations. The logo was launched digitally during an online ceremony attended by Israel’s Ambassador to India, Naor Gilon, and India’s Ambassador to Israel, Sanjeev Singla. Other top ambassadors from both nations attended the event as well. The logo incorporates the Star of David and the Ashoka Chakra, both of which appear on the national flags of both nations, to create the numeral 30 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of bilateral ties, the official statement mentioned. This unique logo reflects the two sides’ expanding strategic collaboration, the Embassy Of Israel stated.

MeiTY releases 5-year roadmap and Vision Document for Electronics sector

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, on Monday released a five-year roadmap and vision document for the electronics sector titled “USD 300 bn Sustainable Electronics Manufacturing & Exports by 2026”. As per a press release issued by the ministry, the roadmap, released in association with India Cellular & Electronics Association (ICEA), is the second volume of a two-part vision document – the first of which titled “Increasing India’s Electronics Exports and Share in GVCs” was released in November 2021. The domestic market is expected to increase from US$65 billion to US$180 billion over the next 5 years. This will make electronics amongst India’s 2-3 top ranking exports by 2026.

Centre launches revamped Central Government Health Scheme website

Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya digitally launched the revamped CGHS (Central Government Health Scheme) website (www.cghs.gov.in) and mobile app, “MyCGHS”, today in the presence of Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare. The Health Minister added that the basket of services is enlarged with the revamped website. With the newly provided feature of tele-consultation, CGHS beneficiaries can seek expert advice directly through teleconsultation, he stated. With these improved facilities, CGHS aims to further increase its outreach to beneficiaries with ease of providing various facilities.

Gujarat Institute, Disaster Management Professor To Get Netaji Award

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will present the Subhas Chandra Bose Aapda Prabandhan Puraskars this evening to recognize and honour the contribution and service by people and organizations in India in the field of disaster management.
A total of seven awards for the winners of the last four years will be presented during the ceremony, with this year’s award going to the Gujarat Institute of Disaster Management, in the institutional category, and to Professor Vinod Sharma, in the individual category. The Subhas Chandra Bose Aapda Prabandhan Puraskar is announced every year on January 23 to mark the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The award carries a cash prize of ₹ 51 lakh and a certificate in case of an institution and ₹ 5 lakh and a certificate in case of an individual.
