- This will accelerate the QT led economic growth, nurture the environment in the country And make India one of the leading countries in the development of Quantum Technologies & Applications (QTA).
- The Mission targets encompass developing intermediate-scale quantum computer systems with 50-1000 physical qubits in 8 years in various systems like superconducting and photonic technology.
- Significance: NQM has the ability to elevate the country’s Technology Development atmosphere to a level of global competitiveness.
- The Mission might significantly gain diverse sectors including communication, health, monetary, energy with applications in drug layout, space, banking, safety and so forth.
- The Mission can even provide a huge increase to National priorities like Digital India, Make in India, Skill India and Stand-up India, Start-up India, Self-reliant India and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
