Bharat Taxi

In News: India will roll out Bharat Taxi a national ride-hailing application, based on cooperation, with strategic and technical assistance of the National e-Governance Division (NeGD).

• NeGD, in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Ministry of MeitY) has signed an MoU with Sahakar Taxi Cooperative Limited (brand name: Bharat Taxi) to provide strategic and technical advisory services.
• Cooperative and development institutions like NCDC, IFFCO, AMUL, KRIBHCO, NAFED, NABARD, NDDB and NCEL lead in the promotion of the initiative.
• The partnership will connect Bharat Taxi with DigiLocker, UMANG and API Setu to work as smooth digital providers.

SPARK 4.0

In News: Central Council of Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) announced the fourth round of its flagship project, Ayurveda Research Ken Studentship Program (SPARK), to be conducted in the year 2025-26.

• It will encourage scientific curiosity and research abilities in undergraduate Ayurveda students in the country.
• In the SPARK-4.0, 300 students of the colleges approved by the National Commission of Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) would receive a studentship of Rs 50,000, which will be disbursed at the rate of Rs 25,000 per month over two months.
• The student would receive short-term projects of independent research and a certificate at the end of the project.
