Blue Corner Notice

In News: Following a fire at the club that claimed 25 lives, Interpol has given a Blue Corner Notice to trace the owners of night clubs in Goa.

• The Goa Police had asked the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to seek the notice of the Interpol.
• INTERPOL Notices are cross-border warnings that police in the member nations use to exchange vital information on crimes.
• They are released by the General Secretariat of INTERPOL at the bequest of a member country, international tribunals, the International Criminal Court or the UN,
• They are able to pursue persons who have been targeted in crimes like genocide, war crimes or crimes against humanity or support the execution of UN sanctions.
• The majority of the Notices are intended to be used by the police, but extracts can be published to the public upon a request by the issuing authority.

Bharat 6G Alliance (B6GA)

In News: The meeting of the apex council organized under the Bharat 6G Mission and was chaired by the Union Minister of Communications and saw the progress of the Bharat 6G Alliance (B6GA).

• • Bharat 6G Alliance (B6GA) is a multi-stakeholder and collaborative platform that entails the involvement of academic institutions, domestic industries, research and development organizations.
  • It acts as the implementation wing of the Bharat 6G Vision which was announced by India in March 2023 to make the country a leader in the 6Gs technology by 2030.

• About 6G Technology

• • 6G is the imminent wireless communication technology, which is the successor to 5G as an extension of the mobile networks to the sixth generation.
  • The 6G will provide up to 1 terabit per second (1 Tbps) peak data rates, which is about 100 times higher than 5G which provides 10 Gbps.
  • The ultra-low latency of 6G will be 0.1 milliseconds (5G is 1 milliseconds).
